As soon as dawn hit, Jack started running faster than he's ever run here. I was only just able to keep up with him. He didn't stop for almost an hour. As we ran I caught a few glimpses of terrain features around us; the trees appeared to be growing denser, and I could have sworn I saw either the same door we had previously found or another one like it.
We've found a new cave, but we've decided to move caves more often now; the creature appears to be better at finding us than we thought.
As for those messages, still not sure what to make of them. "return to the agent"? I'm going to keep digging through this phone to see if I can find anything to make better sense of it.
That creature may be the agent. I personally wouldn't want to return to it either.
ReplyDeleteThe text messages in the phone are likely not from the creature himself, but from a lesser being acting as his messenger. This would support the theory of the creature being the "agent", as the reference is in 3rd person.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried replying to the number that sent you the texts? You'll likely only get more code and/or a cryptic answer, but maybe if we all put our heads together we can figure out who's behind this.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Rini's Idea is a good idea. Whoever this guy sending you messages is, he doesn't radiate with trustworthy intent.
ReplyDeleteThe Agent wouldn't refer to It's self in third person at the very least. So the text messager is obviously an accomplice, probably being bent to the creature's will. I say,if you encounter any of the other survivors, don't trust them. Who knows if the creature has extended it's powers to control them like it did before when kidnapping you and Jack.
